Monday, November 21 - 7pm
Areté Venue at Mise-En Place, 341 Calyer St, Brooklyn, NY will host a combined CD release and 75th birthday celebration for Neil. This concert has been rescheduled from a pre-recording event in January, which was cancelled because of Covid. It will feature performances by Geoffrey Burleson and Kathleen Supové of pieces from Neil’s Lockdown Fantasies CD, which will be released in December by Other Minds Recordings.

Friday, November 11 - 8pm [CANCELED DUE TO ILLNESS]
The Ammerman Center Symposium at Evans Concert Hall, Cummings Art Center, Connecticut College, in New London, CT, will feature Neil’s solo laptop piece Messages.

Friday, September 16 - 7pm
Release party for Steve Brodner’s book Living & Dying in America, at the Society of Illustrators, 163 E. 62nd St., New York City. The book is comprised of Steve’s daily portraits, over two years, of those lost to Covid. Neil accompanies a video of images from the book with a live performance of the score.

Friday, September 9 - 6pm
The Higher Ground Festival 2022 will present the premiere of So Many Me’s, with music by Neil and choreography by Alex Oliva. The performance will be in the afternoon in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem.

Saturday, April 16 - 2pm
No Name Cinema in Santa Fe, NM, will present Neil in an afternoon concert. Free herbal tea will be served.

Wednesday March 30 - 7pm
The Taos Center for the Arts in Taos, NM, will present Neil in a solo laptop concert. He’ll share the concert with local Taos musician Neil Blank.

Saturday, March 5 - 10:45am (Central European Time)
The Data Art for Climate Action (DACA) festival in Hong Kong and Graz, Austria, will present a post-festival performance of Ocean’s Eat Cities in the Mumuth Ligeti Hall in Graz. The original festival performance was scheduled for January, but was delayed due to Covid.

Saturday, February 19 - 8pm
Longitudes at CO-OPt in Lubbock, TX will present Neil doing an evening of solo laptop pieces, on a program with local composer Justin Houser.

Areté Venue presents “Lockdown & Loss: Music of Neil Rolnick for Piano and Electronics,” at Mise-En Place in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The concert features Kathleen Supové and Geoffrey Burleson, and is our warm-up for 3 days of recording these pieces for my next album, which will be released in 2022 on the Other Minds label. • Reserve seats via Eventbrite.
