Stanford University, Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Neil will be performing a program of recent solo laptop work.

The Ensemble Échappé will present the streaming premiere of One For The Ages (instrumental version) for 10 instruments, dancers and speakers. A collaboration with choreographer/video director Julia Bengtsson, and post production editor Aidan Gold, the 30 minute work expands on a shorter all electronic version performed in 2020, exploring stories of relationships between generations. Columbia University’s Computer Music Center. Neil will present his work to students in Seth Cluett’s seminar on interactive sound and video.
Saturday, October 7 - 6pm
The Foro Internacional de Música Nueva Manuel Enríquez at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Ónix Ensamble will perform the premiere of En La Frontera. The new piece, written for Ónix, includes music derived from traditional music of the México/US borderlands, and video by El Paso based videographer Diego Davila. The video for En La Frontera was supported by a grant from the Norththern Manhattan Arts Alliance (NoMAA).

Neil will be performing Messages at the VU Symposium, in Park City, UT

Pianist Kathleen Supové, flutist Tessa Brinkman, and Neil will be taking some new work for a test drive at a house concert in the East Village home of Alexander Baxter, 10 Bleecker St. #7C. Alexander will join us for a 4-way improvisation to end the concert. Doors will open at 3pm, concert starts at 4pm. Please RSVP to alexbaxter@mac.com

Earth Day Art Model, an online event, will include 2 of Neil’s pieces: Living & Dying, a video by illustrator Steve Brodner and videographer Kayleigh Waters, with musical score by Neil, and Lockdown Fantasies, performed by pianist Geoffrey Burleson.
